Company Secretaries
Following a change in the law concerning Company Secretaries in April 2008, it is no longer necessary to have a named company secretary. However, you could still decide to have one if you choose, and Brookson provides a comprehensive company secretarial service covering all routine corporate administration requirements together with any changes that may be required by you - for example, changing your company name. We provide this service using Jordans' Secretaries Limited, the UK's largest provider of business formation and company secretarial services. Companies House also provide guidance on company names.
Annual returns
One of your principle responsibilities as a director of your limited company is to submit an annual return to Companies House within 28 days of the anniversary of its incorporation. For detailed guidance explaining how and when an annual return is to be filed, who needs to file it and what is involved please refer to our Limited Company Annual Return guidance.
