Honest umbrella service advice and support - How do we compare?

We believe in honest advice. We do not market our umbrella service pretending it is comparable to limited company working in terms of the financial return you can expect.

In going through our Navigator product, you will come to understand the choices available to you and how the financial returns vary and you will know that it’s not all about the money there are many factors you need to consider when choosing the way of working that is right for you.

We will not claim you can take home 85% of your income working through an umbrella company either.

The level of expenses needed to support this would be extremely high and if you were incurring this level of expenses, you wouldn’t be taking home very much money at all.

Umbrella Company working does have its own unique benefits though. It is a simple and hassle free way of working that can benefit you financially compared to PAYE, especially if you are incurring expenses like travel and accommodation.

We don’t advertise our service with claims like “HMRC compliant” and “HMRC approved”; we believe this is misleading and implies that HMRC has in some way signed off on a company.

This is simply not the case. We would recommend that you keep away from companies that use this misleading messaging.

In fact HMRC has very publicly expressed its concerns about the compliance of some umbrella companies.
