Contractors working as
sole traders or
limited companies in the UK's marketing and advertising sector could be among those to benefit from a forthcoming industry event.
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has scheduled to hold a meeting with members of its Marketing, Media and Creative sector Group (MMC).
Hamish Pringle, director of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, is to address members of the group in order to discuss a number of issues facing the sector such as the effect of budget restraints at a number of the UK's advertising agencies.
Commenting on Mr Pringle's appearance at the meeting, Kostantinos Makrygiannis, the MMC group's policy advisor said: "Members will benefit from Hamish's insightful information and hands-on experience.
"Because of the current economic climate, the market is restrained so his insights will be valuable in helping members understand more about the pressures they are facing and offer some practical tips on how to persuade their clients about the value of their services."
