Freelancing will be celebrated for the fourth year running in November.
The Professional Contractors Group (PCG) has announced that it will be hosting this year's National Freelancers Day on Wednesday November 21st.
The popular event has been running since 2009 and fittingly will be held on the third day of the week this year because freelancing is known as the 'third way to work'.
Currently there are an estimated 1.56 million freelance and contractors plying their trade in the UK and the day has been designed to celebrate the quality of work they provide.
The organisers have said that there will be a host of intensive live and visual activities dedicated to freelancing, such as workshops on how to become a successful freelancer, how to hire freelancers and how to make the move into self-employment.
The PCG are urging that everyone who is interested in the celebrations to sign up on its website so that they do not miss out on the "highlight of the freelance calendar".
