IT contractors based in South Wales could see a raft of new opportunities come available when a new firm moves into the area.
Attenda Limited, an international IT support and infrastructure business based in Staines, Surrey is set to open a new operation in Caerphilly thanks to almost £2 million of support for the Welsh government.
It's a move which is set to create around 150 new jobs and came about after competition from the Czech Republic was fended off.
Edwina Hart, the business minister, said on Wednesday: "This is a good example of a company that had a number of alternative locations to consider for their expansion but chose Wales because of the availability of a workforce with the relevant skills and a business environment where they can flourish.
"Attenda operates in one of our key priority sectors, which have been identified as having high growth potential, so this investment is a very welcome addition to the ICT sector in Wales."
A group of workers have already moved into the site but the main period of recruitment will be carried out in 2013.
