Getting started with Brookson
Once you have set yourself up as a self-employed sole trader, getting started with Brookson is a straightforward process. There are a few simple procedures you must follow to get started with Brookson.
Appoint Brookson as your accountant
Your welcome pack will contain all you need to formally appoint us as your self employed accountant and tax agent.
Register with Brookson online
Through your online business portal you will have access to all of your business information. This is where you can review your activity reports and monthly Money Manager financial statements.
Enter your customer or project details on the system
Once you have entered these details you can raise invoices and expenses against these customers.
Confirm to us an up-to-date trading position
If you are new to working for yourself and have previously been employed, all we need is your P45.
If you have been in business for a while, we will simply need your latest trading position. Your New Business Advisor will establish with you what you have available and collate the information.
