On Boarding Co-ordinator

Role Purpose

The role holder will offer support to the New Business Consultants. This is by ensuring that they eliminate work that detracts the New Business Consultants obtaining more joiners. Although there is an element of sales as a part of the role, the primary function of the On Boarding Co-ordinator is to ensure that the experience of all prospects is aligned with ‘The Brookson Way’.

Role Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all calls and emails are handled with empathy, enthusiasm, confidence and accuracy. Demonstrate a commitment to be helpful on each interaction and follow through on promises.
  • Go out of your way to surprise customers with outstanding service by making the whole joining process appear simple and slick.
  • Regularly feedback to the New Business Team Leader any quality or training issues that are highlighted when dealing with team member’s work.
  • Ensure that daily bank updates are completed and that relationships with our banking partners are managed efficiently.
  • Ensure that the New Business advisors are fully supported with every new sale.
  • Proactively and enthusiastically work towards agreed targets and objectives.
  • Handle new customers that join Brookson in an accurate and timely manner using thein house computer system and ensure that all necessary documentation is provided to other relevant areas within Brookson.
  • Understand contractors – how they work, what they rely on most and what value they can receive from working with Brookson and therefore how we can best support them.
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of Brookson services in order to provide the highest level of advice and support.
  • Proactively keep yourself up to date on the full range of Brookson USP’s, vs.competitors, thereby ensuring a confident and knowledgeable ability to promote how we can help customers.
  • Identify those customer calls that require redirection to our business partners for their specialist help and advice.
  • Recognise and understand buying signals given by customers in order to effectively provide relevant and compelling reasons to use our services. Use skills and knowledge of Brookson and our competitors to consistently identify opportunities to maximise sales potential.
  • Continually develop skills by highlighting and attending relevant and required training and take ownership of own development with the support of the team leader
  • Any other duties that are deemed necessary to support the business as and when required.
  • Complete a welcome call for every new customer ensuring they have an outstanding introduction to Brookson.
  • Own customers and guide them through our processes ensuring all of their needs are met until they start trading.

Role Relationships

Working within the New Business Department, the role holder will report to the New Business Team Leader. The role will involve a series of interactions with specific parties which could include:

  • Prospects.
  • Line Management.
  • Business Development Managers.
  • Marketing.
  • Other Internal Support Functions (other teams/staff).
  • Brookson Business Partners.
  • Recruitment Agencies and Clients

Personal Profile

  • A friendly and outgoing individual who genuinely enjoys dealing with people.
  • Must demonstrate good attention to detail and have the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Preferably educated to A-Level standard.
  • An extremely positive and proactive approach to work with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via face to face, over the telephone and in written correspondence.
  • Must possess a high level of personal motivation and initiative.
  • Ability to respond positively to working within a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to work well on an individual basis as well as being a strong team member.
